They all really need your nonfiction books and instructional materials
They have a dedicated teaching staff who work for almost no pay, with no transportation, and very little professional support.
They face unimaginable challenges as they work to educate an incredibly vulnerable population of children, many of whom are orphaned, former child soldiers, themselves sick with HIV, and traumatized by the brutal rebel army that terrorized their villages for 25 years
They do this work with absolutely nothing. No books. No electricity. No computers. No running water. No toilets. And oftentimes no chalkboards, desks, chairs, paper, pencils or even roofs to work under or food to eat.
They perservere and they are an inspiration to us!
