Books of Hope is a school-to-school sponsorship program between American schools and schools who work with vulnerable children around the world. The primary goal of the program is for American schools to create handmade books about a variety of subject areas to help their sponsored school meet their academic goals. Some American schools may also choose to assist financially or with supplies, but that is not the purpose of the program.

Please provide us with the information requested on this page for each school or organization that you are registering. If you are enrolling more than one school/organization in Books of Hope, please fill this form out separately for each.

Please be aware that we will do our best to fulfill your school's requests, but we can make no guarantees on book requests or monetary or supply donations. The American schools that will be sponsoring your school will receive this information so they can better meet your needs. However, by agreeing to becoming your school's sponsor, they are not obligated to meet all of your school's needs.

The Books of Hope program is a gesture of friendship and support from American schools, but it is not a binding agreement for services or supplies from either Books of Hope or participating American schools.

Books of Hope only serves educational institutions and not-for-profit organizations. If you have any questions, please contact Director Abha Thakkar at abha@booksofhope.org or (U.S. Country Code) + 608-441-3206.
